France and Mexico are meeting in a game that will go a long way to deciding Group A. Earlier, Greece claimed their first ever World Cup victory with a 2-1 win against Nigeria while Argentina saw off South Korea.

86 mins Domench's men are playing as if they're three goals up passing the ball around the back with no urgency at all. Their manager meanwhile has been slumped against the edge of the dugout doing nothing. No changes, no instructions to his players, nothing.

83 mins France are awarded a free-kick 30 yards from goal. Ribery steps up to take it and maybe give his side a lifeline, but he smacks it straight against the wall. Again.

82 mins France, who haven't been up to much all evening, look an absolutely beaten side. Defeat here won't matchmatically rule them out of progressing, but it looks very, very unlikely.

79 mins GOAL MEXICO! Blanco takes a rediculously long run up - the kind you see before England players take before they balloon the ball over the bar - but Blanco makes no mistake and slots the ball low to the left which Lloris can't save, despite going the right way.

77 mins PENALTY MEXICO! Barrera runs past Evra before Abidal slides in on him. The Mexican player sees the challenge coming and goes down easily but there's enough contact for the referee to point the spot.

74 mins A shot from Gignac from outside the box sails over. In sums up France's night thus far - they honestly look like they don't care.

71 mins France make a change with Sidney Govou coming off for Mathieu Valbuena. Still no sign of Thierry Henry. If France do lose this game, expect Domenech's team selection to come under heavy scrutiny.

70 mins The stadium is jumping as the Mexican fans, who outnumber their French counterparts, celebrate their side's lead. Dos Santos, who has impressed all night, sends in a great low cross that rolls across the face of the French goal with no-one following it in.

66 mins France free-kick in side the Mexico's half on the left Ribery sends it over, but it's another poor cross and Perez collects it with ease.

63 mins GOAL MEXICO! It's the subsitute Hernandez. A long, through ball from Marquez fools the French defence, who step up en masse in an effort to play offside. The pass finds Hernandez in acres of space and he has all the time in the world to beat goalkeeper Lloris and slot the ball home. In fairness it looks offside on first viewing, but replays show that the linesman may have got it right.
